The Deal

Each player is dealt 13 cards from a standard 52-card deck. Cards are ranked from 3 (lowest) to 2 (highest), with suits ranked from Diamonds, Clubs, Hearts, to Spades (highest). The 3 of Diamonds is always the lowest card in the game.

The First Play

The player holding the 3 of Diamonds must lead the first round. They can play it as a single card or include it in a valid combination. This sets the pace for the rest of the hand.

Playing Your Turn

On your turn, you must play a higher combination of the same type as what was last played — or pass. You can play singles, pairs, triples, four-of-a-kind, straights, flushes, full houses, four-of-a-kind with kicker, or a straight flush.

Passing and New Leads

If you can't or don't want to play, you pass. When all other players pass and only one remains, that player wins the round and gets to lead the next one with any combination they choose.

Winning the Game

The first player to empty their hand wins the round. At WingPH, points and prizes are calculated based on how many cards remaining opponents are holding when you go out. The fewer cards left, the bigger the score difference.

Five-card combinations can only be played against other five-card combinations of the same type or higher. You cannot play a full house over a pair.
